◆ The Lighthouse

What we stand on.

Not a pitch. The rules we hold ourselves to — so you can hold us to them too.

Prove it. Don’t claim it.

  1. 01
    People first.
We build the tools people actually need — and when they show up, we stop chasing anything else. We serve; we don’t hunt.
  2. 02
    We won’t sell you out.
Non-negotiable. We’d eat ramen before we’d betray the people who trust us. Your data is not the product, and it never will be.
  3. 03
    Nothing to find at 3am.
What runs on your device stays on your device. We keep no shelf of your life — an empty shelf can’t be handed over, subpoenaed, or leaked.
  4. 04
We give away what we could sell.
The things with real market value, we free. The gift is the proof that we mean the rest of this.
  5. 05
One fair price — never a trick.
You pay for real costs, not for status. The bigger the brotherhood, the stronger it gets — not the more you pay. No dark patterns, no bait.
  6. 06
    Trust by default.
We refuse to design for the 1% who’d cheat and punish the 99% who won’t. We trust you first and eat the small loss. That’s the deal.
  7. 07
    Built for everyone’s safety.
The work is about keeping people safe — never about who a person is. People first, always.
  8. 08
If someone builds it better, the people still win.
Then we open-source it and move on to the next thing that needs building. Mission over ego. We can’t be captured because we were never in it to be bought.

These aren’t marketing. They’re the standard we’ve written down on purpose, in public, so you can point at any line and ask, “did you hold to this?”

If we ever don’t — call it out. That’s what the front door is for.
