Get Unstuck From Sand, Snow, or Mud
The instinct to floor it is exactly wrong — it digs you deeper and polishes snow into ice. Slow is your friend here.
1. Don't floor it
Spinning tires dig a grave in sand and glaze snow into ice. Stop making it worse first.
2. Air DOWN the drive tires
Let some air out to about 15-20 psi. A bigger, flatter footprint floats on top instead of digging in.
3. Ease out slow and straight
Gentle throttle, straight wheels, rock forward and back if needed. Momentum you build slowly beats a violent spin.
4. Re-air the tires after
Low tires are for getting unstuck, not for driving. Air back up before you get up to speed.
